FAQ
Does it modify the original file? No. The input PDF on your disk is never touched. The export is a new file built from your edits.
Why does rotation combine with the source rotation? Some PDFs already carry a page rotation (common for scanned documents). The tool adds your rotation on top so the final orientation matches what you see in the thumbnail.
Are encrypted PDFs supported? No — remove the password in the source application first.
Is there a file size limit? 50 MB per file. Thumbnail rendering is the bottleneck; large documents take a few seconds to load.
Are my files uploaded?
No. pdfjs-dist and pdf-lib both run entirely in the browser.
